Company description
With more than 13,000 employees representing 160 professions, the Geneva University Hospitals are a nationally and internationally recognised institution. To learn more about our institution, take a few minutes to consult our 2025 retrospective by clicking here.
With nearly 1,500 employees, the Rehabilitation and Geriatrics Department (DRG) is a medical centre focused on the elderly and is spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour and Joli-Mont. It manages acute situations, notably through the emergency services of the Trois-Chêne Hospital, age-specific issues, medical rehabilitation and palliative care.
Located in the heart of a park on the Belle-Idée estate, the Trois-Chêne Hospital welcomes people whose health condition requires hospitalisation for geriatric care or rehabilitation treatments. The hospital has a state-of-the-art radiology unit, intermediate care, as well as an emergency service that can accommodate patients aged 75 and over, excluding life-threatening emergencies.
Job description
Your ease in human relations, empathy and diplomacy enable you to ensure and guarantee all patient transport services within the Trois-Chêne Hospital, always ensuring patient comfort and strictly respecting safety rules.
You are a motivated person with good physical condition, as the role requires daily handling of patient transport, beds and auxiliary equipment. You will also be required to carry out transports to the site mortuary.
A keen sense of collaboration and a taste for teamwork are necessary to cover shifts within your team and, in the near future, to take on the role of delegate for auxiliary equipment.
Qualifications
You have post-compulsory education (a Federal VET Diploma is an asset).
You have good command of IT tools and the French language, both spoken and written.
Experience in the hospital sector is an advantage.
If you are a rigorous person, open to change, with good organisational skills allowing you to handle several simultaneous demands while keeping a smile, able to work independently while appreciating multidisciplinary team collaboration, and ready to invest yourself dynamically, do not hesitate
