Project Manager Construction Projects

Tasks

• As Project Manager Construction and Development, you will lead new build and refurbishment projects on the client side and be responsible for client-side controlling.
• You ensure the requirements for architectural quality, costs, and deadlines in our diverse projects.
• You ensure that legal requirements as well as economic and ecological framework conditions are taken into account in planning and execution.

Profile

• Completed studies in architecture ETH/FH or equivalent education and further training in real estate and project development and/or business administration advantageous
• Several years of proven experience in planning and executing demanding construction projects
• Experience on the client side (ideally in a public or non-profit organisation)
• Interest in issues of age-friendly and cost-conscious building
• Knowledge of public procurement, planning and approval processes of the City of Zurich, and cantonal and municipal housing promotion or willingness to acquire this knowledge

About us

The Foundation for Senior Housing of the City of Zurich (SAW) currently operates around 40 settlements with over 2000 affordable apartments for people aged 60 and over. It supports its tenants with everyday, social, and care services, thereby enabling a high quality of life into old age. By 2035, SAW plans to commission further settlements with around 1000 additional apartments.
