Responsible for Information Mandate Child and Youth Welfare, fixed-term for 1 year 50%Good for life – that is our motto. As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Counselling is responsible for the services in the field of child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Children, young people and families are at the centre of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
In the Child and Youth Welfare (KJH) department, we are responsible for the development and coordination of services of the cantonal child and youth welfare and support the service provision of the four youth welfare regions as well as other actors.
For the implementation of the information mandate Child and Youth Welfare, we are looking for a scientific staff member as maternity cover from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement, fixed-term for one year.
Your tasks
- Ensuring easy accessibility and active communication of the existing kjz offer in coordination with the internal communications department (INA)
- Professional responsibility for the development of information and aids around Art. 15 KJHG
- Editorial management of the KJH content on the website Family – good for life – AJB Zurich
- Contribution of professional content in communication matters
- Leadership of the kjz-Infothek specialist group
Your profile
- Master’s degree in a field relevant to the work priorities (preferably educational sciences, psychology or social work combined with communication sciences)
- Experience in editorial work and project management
- Conceptual work, strategic thinking and a confident, articulate and target group-appropriate manner of expression
- Openness and enjoyment in working with different stakeholders
