The Bankruptcy Office, based in St. Gallen with regional offices in Wil, Rapperswil-Jona, and Buchs, is responsible for conducting all bankruptcy proceedings concerning private individuals, companies, and over-indebted estates.

We are looking for a committed and reliable individual for the head office from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement as

Bankruptcy Officer (m/f/d)

Workload: 80-100%

Workplace: St. Gallen

What to expect

• Independent management of bankruptcy proceedings in the regions of St. Gallen and Rorschach
• Responsibility for the legally compliant and timely processing of procedures
• Responsible and varied tasks in both internal and external service
• Direct contact with debtors, creditors, courts, and other stakeholders
• Specific introduction to the role by an experienced team

What distinguishes you

• Completed legal/economic studies or basic training with further education in the legal or specialised field (federal specialist certificate as debt enforcement/bankruptcy specialist, legal specialist HF, patent legal agent)
• Interest in legal issues
• Decisiveness and assertiveness
• Precise, independent, and structured way of working
• Ability to keep a cool head even in hectic situations
