As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for a committed finance specialist for our Finance and Administration Department at the Zurich location from 1 March 2027 or by arrangement.

These activities will inspire you

• Leading and further developing the 9-member team from the groups Financial Accounting, Personnel and Welfare Foundations as well as Central Services and Real Estate
• Responsible for preparing the monthly and annual financial statements (including consolidated financial statements) according to Swiss GAAP FER for the SUISA cooperative, its subsidiaries and the affiliated foundations
• Preparing the annual budget Further development and refinement of financial and operational accounting, which is aligned not only with internal requirements but also with external needs (public, media, supervisory authorities, etc.)
• Responsible for cash management and asset management
• Further development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Collaboration with the auditing firm and tax consultancy
  

Controlling:

• Timely preparation of periodic target/actual comparisons regarding expenses, income, finances and investments
• Creation of the information and reporting system according to the needs of management and the board
• Analysis of business information provided by domestic and foreign collecting societies and preparation of corresponding comparisons and developments over several years
• Preparation of the annual medium- and long-term planning objectives together with management and the 4 departments Services, Members, Customers and Regulations

Real Estate:

• Managing and supervising renovation projects for the company-owned residential properties in Zurich

Special tasks:

• Execution of special analyses ordered by the CEO or the board committee "Finance and Control"
• Monitoring and executing board resolutions in collaboration with the CEO
• Monitoring the proper use of execution and investment credits approved by the board, in consultation with the CEO
• Analysing deviations and discussing results with responsible parties as well as developing alternatives and recommendations for countermeasures
• Conducting cost-effectiveness calculations for new projects
• Collecting and analysing data and preparing statistics as a basis for tariff negotiations 
• Participation in the general meeting, distribution and board committees as well as management meetings as needed with advisory vote
• Administrative management of two foundations in the pension sector 
• Ensuring internal controls (ICS)

This is what sets you apart

• You have a solid business education such as a Master in Business Administration or a Swiss Federal Diploma as an Expert in Accounting and Controlling
• You have several years of experience in a managerial position in finance/accounting and controlling, preferably in a service company 
• Experience in leading and implementing finance and controlling projects
• You have a confident command of German in spoken and written form and good knowledge of French and English
• You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations 
• You are proactive, work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• You think and act entrepreneurially and work precisely and conscientiously
