What is the role about?
You lead the test engineering team of eleven employees both professionally and personally and strategically develop the team, competencies, as well as test and inspection systems. In addition, you coordinate collaboration with the relevant departments, ensure 3rd level support, and drive the demand-oriented further development of the test infrastructure.
What tasks will you take on?
- You lead the test engineering team of eleven employees both professionally and personally and purposefully develop structures, competencies, and collaboration.
- You are responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and sustainably developing new employees, thereby strengthening the team’s performance.
- You shape the strategic further development of the team at the Reinach site and align it with future requirements.
- You ensure close collaboration with research & development, industrialisation, production, project management, and software development, and guarantee competent 3rd level support for complex technical issues.
- You identify future requirements for test and inspection systems, prioritise these together with the relevant interfaces, and coordinate their successful implementation.
What do we expect from you?
- You have a completed technical degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
- You bring several years of experience in an industrial environment, ideally in PCBA manufacturing, test development, or industrialisation, and understand complex production and test processes.
- You have proven experience in project management as well as in professional or personnel leadership and know how to purposefully develop teams.
- You communicate fluently and confidently in German and English and navigate confidently in an international, interdisciplinary environment.
- You convince with an independent, creative, and solution-oriented working style as well as pronounced communication and team skills.
