Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Technical consulting of customers for offers, product design as well as sales support
• Analysis and preparation of customer data (e.g. Gerber files) with CAM programs (UCAM, CAM350) as well as execution of design rule checks
• Assessment of technical feasibility and manufacturability taking into account the Dyconex capability matrix as well as coordination with production
• Creation of manufacturing processes and material specifications in Prisma, including handover and support of projects to the product engineer
• Support of sales in product cost calculation, pricing and change management
• Conducting customer training, workshops and technical presentations as well as participation in trade fairs (travel activity approx. 30%)

Your profile

• Engineering degree (FH/University) in electrical engineering, materials, process engineering or physics with several years of professional experience in precision engineering, printed circuit board or semiconductor technologies
• Experience in production process planning as well as knowledge in technical sales consulting
• Strong presentation skills, negotiation skills and enjoyment of direct customer contact
• Quick comprehension, networked thinking as well as the ability to set priorities correctly
• Teamwork, flexible commitment and driving license category B
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written, other languages advantageous (Italian)
