About the job
As a volunteer, you bring joy and variety to the daily life of our residents and their relatives. You share news from the city, support people in special life situations, and give them your valuable time. Your social commitment is a great enrichment for our institution.
We are looking for volunteers for our residents who would like to socially engage with elderly people and are available for the following activities:
- Shopping, walks or small excursions
- Visits for regular contact maintenance
- Accompaniment for hair care, doctor appointments and/or other obligations
- Accompaniment on excursions, visits etc.
- Entertainment of residents to combat loneliness such as: reading aloud, playing board games, having personal conversations
- Assistance in activation therapy during events and/or entertainment programmes
You bring joy in dealing with people, are empathetic, reliable and helpful. We offer you a thorough introduction to your role and provide competent support.
