Walter Zoo is a scientifically managed zoo and, with over 275,000 visitors, is one of the main day-trip attractions in the St. Gallen-Bodensee region. It offers a varied leisure experience for the whole family, with the adventure around animals at the center. Walter Zoo is home to over 1,000 animals from around 100 different species and sparks interest and understanding of their needs and the protection of their habitats.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement for 6 to 12 months for a motivated
Your tasks
- Carrying out all tasks in animal care (animal care, food preparation, cleaning of animal enclosures, animal enrichment, guided feedings)
- Supervision of pony and camel rides
- Maintenance of the surroundings in and around the animal enclosures (gardening, small maintenance tasks)
- Assisting with veterinary treatments and animal transports
