Automation Technician as Maintenance Mechanic
Tasks
- Carrying out maintenance, repair, and overhaul measures on machines and systems in the electrical and mechanical areas
- Ensuring quick and sustainable troubleshooting of production facilities and infrastructure
- Analyzing causes of errors and initiating appropriate measures for sustainable problem solving
- Supporting the team of maintenance mechanics with mechanical work and maintenance tasks
- Documenting the performed work according to the applicable guidelines in the system
- Willingness to participate in rotational on-call duty (Saturday and Sunday)
Requirements
- Completed training as an automation technician EFZ, electromechanic, or comparable education
- Knowledge in control and automation technology
- Experience in the maintenance of production facilities (electrical and ideally also mechanical)
- Authorization Art. 13 or willingness to obtain it (mandatory)
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Analytical thinking and solution-oriented action
- Teamwork skills and willingness for cross-departmental collaboration
