Position: Intern Electronic Circuit Design Engineer

Entity: Commercial Vehicle Electronics Laboratory (LECV)

Location: Boncourt, Switzerland

You will participate in the development of innovative solutions for applications intended for commercial vehicles (trucks). You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design, validation, and industrialisation of power electronic systems.

Your mission

· Participate in the design of power and control electronic boards.

· Create electrical schematics and oversee PCB routing.

· Develop and implement test benches.

· Characterise and validate electronic components (MOSFETs, drivers, sensors, power supplies, etc.).

· Perform functional, thermal, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests.

· Analyse test results and write associated technical reports.

· Participate in technical investigations and problem resolution.

· Contribute to the drafting of design and validation documents.

These activities will allow you to take part in the various phases of electronic product development, from design to validation, in an environment combining innovation, industrialisation, and power applications.

Your skills

· Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.

· Interest in the design, validation, and testing of electronic boards.

· Knowledge of power electronic components (MOSFETs, drivers, power supplies, etc.).

· Familiarity with simulation tools such as LTspice, Matlab/Simulink or equivalent.

· Some knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is a plus.

· Analytical mindset, rigour, and autonomy.

· Technical curiosity and a taste for innovation.

Your background

· Engineering student in the final year of studies (Master’s level or equivalent), specialising in electronics, power electronics, or embedded systems.
