Deputy Area Manager 90%
The Arkadis Foundation is a specialised centre for children and young people with special health or social support needs. The Curative Education Services include curative early education, speech therapy and psychomotor therapy, offering therapy and counselling for children and young people with developmental risks, developmental impairments or disabilities. We work closely with the children, their families and their environment.
Responsibilities
- Professional leadership and mentoring of the areas of curative early education, speech therapy and psychomotor therapy
- Ensuring high quality and continuous development of work processes and methods with the aim of providing customer-oriented services
- Close collaboration with the area management and the management team as well as participation in the further development of the area
- Promotion of an open communication culture that supports creativity, innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Cooperation and networking with specialist offices, professional associations and other relevant stakeholders
Requirements
- Completed studies in curative education and several years of professional experience in the curative education field
- Leadership experience or basic knowledge in leadership is an advantage. Willingness for professional development in leadership and targeted expansion of leadership skills
- Strong self-organisation and organisational skills as well as a structured and reliable working style
- Communication skills in dealing with professional associations, professional networks and various stakeholders
- Affinity for project management and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
- High personal resilience and the ability to maintain an overview even in challenging situations
- Committed, independent, humorous and innovative personality with strong communication and team skills
