The Directorate for Security, Environment and Energy is committed to safety, protection and assistance, environmental protection, sustainable energy supply, and is responsible for building permit procedures as well as the Bern Zoo. The Office for Adult and Child Protection is the competence center of the City of Bern in the field of clarifications and guardianships.
Activities
- Lead social workers personnel-wise, professionally and administratively
- Further develop, implement and monitor processes and standards in child protection
- Clarifications, consultations and management of mandates in consensual and civil law child protection
- Represent the organization externally
Profile
- Completed education in social work HF/FH
- Several years of professional experience in child protection as well as leadership experience
- Planning and organizational skills
- Enjoy working with clients in challenging life situations
- Flexibility, resilience and communication skills
