The EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family day care, which includes around seventy family-based carers, eight preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures. We are looking, for an OSPES follow-up, for a:

Childcare Educator or Socio-Educational Assistant or Childcare Auxiliary 4 hours/week over 2 days

The position is located at the UAPE of Thierrens, a facility with a capacity of 72 places.
The working time is spread over 2 days per week: Tuesday and Thursday during the lunch break (excluding school holidays)

Your duties:

• Ensure quality support for the child received, guaranteeing their well-being and safety in accordance with institutional values and current regulations.
• Implement the educational project and collaborate with colleagues and management.
• Foster a quality and communicative relationship with families and external services.

Your profile:
You have the ability to develop reflective action on quality-related issues and to carry out relevant actions responsibly, autonomously, and reliably in your activity. With a good team spirit, your communication skills, initiative-taking, sociability, flexibility, and stability make you a real asset to the team.
You have a first experience in the childcare field or hold a secondary diploma (CFC) or tertiary ES/HES diploma (or equivalent). You hold Swiss nationality or a valid residence permit as well as a clean criminal record.
