Project Engineer: Civil Engineering

Workplace Bern or Zurich / 80 – 100%

Would you like to actively help shape transport infrastructure from the initial idea to realisation? With us, you will work on rail, road, and bridge projects for public clients. As a project engineer, after thorough induction, you will develop sustainable solutions and take responsibility for new construction and maintenance projects in civil engineering as well as on rail, road, and bridge facilities.

Your Tasks

• Planning and design of infrastructure and engineering structures
• Preparation of reports, plans, and tender documents
• Coordination with clients, authorities, and specialist planners
• Project work across several SIA phases
• Participation in construction inspections and realisation
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams

Your Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering ETH/FH
• Ideally some initial professional experience
• Networked, solution-oriented thinking
• Structured and independent working style
• Strong organisational skills and enjoyment in communication and coordination with various stakeholders such as clients, authorities, and other project participants
