Apprenticeship as Facility Management Specialist EFZ (Building Services) 100%The Kantonsschule Zürcher Oberland (KZO) in Wetzikon is a vibrant school that values an open culture, joint commitment, and an inspiring learning environment. It currently offers a lower secondary level (9th/10th school year) and all Zurich Matura profiles in about 60 classes. With around 1300 students, 200 teachers, and 40 staff members in administration and operations, KZO is one of the large grammar schools in the canton.
The building services department contributes significantly to a functioning school operation and the appearance of KZO with its diverse services. From August 2027, an apprenticeship as a Facility Management Specialist will be available.
Your training at a glance:
- Duration: 3 years
- Vocational school: 1 day per week
- Vocational baccalaureate is possible alongside
- Qualification: Facility Management Specialist EFZ (Building Services)
Your tasks as an apprentice in building services:
- You repair damage to buildings, interior and exterior facilities
- You maintain green spaces and buildings
- You check electrical installations, replace lamps, locks, and fuses
- You service building technology and detect faults
- You assist with cleaning buildings and their surroundings
