About the job

The operation of the Münchwilen school includes the primary school locations Kastanienhof and Oberhofen as well as the secondary school location Waldegg, with a total of over 650 children and more than 100 staff members. The overall responsibility for the school finances lies with the school authority, while the entire accounting is managed by the school board. Expenditures and investments are made by the persons responsible according to the rules of procedure, based on the respective budget and other foundations. We are looking for persons who • have a commercial education; • have knowledge in finance and accounting and are willing to familiarise themselves with the peculiarities of public accounting; • are careful, team-oriented and discreet; • have time resources of about three working days per year and can imagine a multi-year commitment. We offer • a well-coordinated, personally functioning commission; • a very experienced, reliable and open school board; • financial control and correction competencies of the school community accounts; • a school authority open to suggestions for improvement.
