Caritas Central Switzerland runs various programs for professional and social integration. In cooperation with the cantons and municipalities, we implement various offers for the unemployed to integrate into the labor market. Our programs are complemented by a wide range of courses. One of these offers is German courses for mothers with small children. While the mother attends the German course in a relaxed manner, her child is supported and cared for by you in our childcare as
Childcare Employee (40% - on 6 half days)
with great commitment and warmth. Children from 8 months up to kindergarten entry visit us. You lead and accompany the groups in age-appropriate activities with a focus on early language promotion. We document the development of the children and maintain intensive contact with the mothers. This is an offer from women for women. The workload is performed during school weeks; school holidays are free.
Your tasks:
- Caring for children from 8 months up to kindergarten entry
- Leading and accompanying groups with age-appropriate activities
- Promoting and supporting children with a focus on early language development
- Documenting the development of the children
- Maintaining contact with the mothers
- Participating in meetings and further training
- Additional tasks within the framework of our role-based collaboration
Qualifications:
- Training as a childcare specialist EFZ / playgroup leader or in the pedagogical field
- Very good German skills (at least level C1)
- Positive attitude towards multiculturalism
- Reliable, flexible and a team player
- Further training in language promotion and integration or willingness to do so
