• Professional and personnel leadership of the general ledger accounting team (7 employees)
• Responsibility for the independent management of the accounting of a group company
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS including reporting
• Ensuring correct VAT accounting (CH & DE)
• Preparation and support of internal and external audits
• Further development and optimisation of financial processes as well as ensuring efficient workflows
• Participation in and partial management of projects in the finance area 
• Responsibility for group-wide topics such as bank guarantees and support with currency hedging
• Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines as well as legal requirements in the finance area
• Promotion of a continuous improvement culture within the team

• Completed further education in accounting (federal diploma) or business studies with a focus on accounting/finance
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a comparable leadership role
• Confidence in financial statement preparation according to Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS
• Experience with international VAT is an advantage
• Very good IT skills (ideally SAP as well as MS Office)
• Leadership competence with a clear, appreciative, and binding style
• Analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and precise way of working
• High personal responsibility, resilience, and discretion
• Team-oriented personality with enthusiasm for the development of employees
