For the major project "New Campus Biel/Bienne" we are looking for reinforcement for our team in Biel.

Construction Manager

• You share responsibility for achieving qualitative, scheduling and financial targets
• You are responsible for on-site construction management and project-related quality management during execution
• You create schedules regarding construction progress, tenders, plan deliveries, commissioning, inspections and handovers
• You are responsible for preparing contractor tenders
• You lead the time and cost controlling of construction work and prepare measurements and contractor invoices
• You conduct inspections with contractors, clients and/or authorities and are responsible for defect rectifications
• You ensure quality requirements regarding site safety and compliance with the posting of workers ordinance
• You lead and document planning, construction and coordination meetings

• You have several years of experience in construction management and are proficient in all construction management topics in building projects
• You have completed a construction- or architecture-related vocational training; further education as a federally certified construction manager, FH architect or FH civil engineer is an advantage
• You are a leadership personality who is aware of the importance of team player skills and actively applies them
• You are characterised by negotiation skills and a healthy degree of assertiveness
• You are used to working independently, acting entrepreneurially and taking responsibility
