What you can achieve
- Support in the technical maintenance of the Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) as well as the associated ICT resources for the benefit of the Swiss Army
- Creating concepts, analyses, clarifications and reports as well as building expertise and collaborating in the use of the EKMS
- Verifying and implementing firmware and software changes as well as managing the virtual VMware ESXi server infrastructure including backup management and user support
- Developing and maintaining system documentation for the EKMS and the associated ICT resources and collaborating in configuration management
- Contributing to the creation of information security and data protection concepts
- Contributing to regulations, training and operation-specific requirements
What you bring with you
- Completed university or higher technical college education in a technical field (e.g. computer science or electrical engineering) or equivalent training and further education (IT security area advantageous) and/or several years of professional experience
- Willingness to familiarise yourself with ICT topics and cryptology and to continue your education continuously, SAP knowledge desirable
- Very good German and English skills (B2) spoken and written as well as good French skills (B1)
- Analytical, independent and reliable working style with a pronounced technical understanding
- Committed, resilient as well as team- and customer-oriented personality with an independent and responsible working style
- Swiss nationality (function-related) as well as driving licence category B, willingness to participate in regular on-call duties
