Teamleader Export Control

Are you passionate about world politics and global economic issues, enjoy dealing with legal foundations in foreign trade, can draw the right conclusions for cross-border trade and want to apply this know-how in an international corporation?

At Würth Logistics, you will lead the Corporate Export Control team, currently consisting of four specialists. The team performs a governance function within the Würth Group and collaborates with various internal corporate departments to further develop the export control organisation of the Würth Group. In doing so, you contribute to ensuring that international business activities are conducted group-wide in compliance with export control laws.

• You lead the Corporate Export Control team professionally and develop it so that it effectively fulfils its governance function for the Würth Group.
• You design the governance for the Würth Group's Trade Compliance Management System and establish group-wide requirements, guidelines, standards and control systems.
• You monitor compliance with national and international export control regulations as well as sanctions provisions within the Würth Group and conduct controls and audits at the companies.
• You assess goods, technologies and services from the Würth Group's range of over 125,000 items from an export control perspective and make decisions in critical export transactions and escalation cases.
• You prepare reports and management reports with key figures on export control and advise the top management of the Würth Group.
• You support the companies on export control issues, train employees and managers, and raise awareness of export control requirements.
• You observe regulatory developments in foreign trade and ensure that new legal requirements are implemented within the Würth Group.
• You work in international project teams and support the digitalisation and automation of trade compliance processes. 

• You have completed training or studies with a focus on logistics or foreign trade and possess in-depth knowledge of regulations, rules and laws in international goods traffic.
• You bring several years of professional experience in export control and have led teams and projects professionally.
• You think and work process- and solution-oriented and are able to address different tasks, requirements and stakeholders across departments.
• Your communication and social skills enable you to work successfully in an intercultural environment and build trust with those involved.
• You attentively follow the regularly changing rules, regulations and laws in international trade and continuously further your education.
• You communicate orally and in writing in fluent German and at a very good level in English.
• You are willing to travel to team and project meetings at other Würth locations, mostly in Germany – about 10 percent of your working time.
