(Specialist) Chemical Operator (m/f/d) in 4-Shift

Are you ready to prove your talent and expertise in a new setting? Then take responsibility within our active ingredient production at the Zofingen site, Switzerland. The full-time position in 4-shift is to be filled immediately or by arrangement.

Your Role

Siegfried has a wide range of development and multipurpose production plants for pharmaceutical active ingredients (API). In a 4-shift operation, you are responsible for the active ingredient production:

• Independent execution of chemical reactions in one of our multipurpose plants according to operating instructions and in compliance with cGMP and hygiene regulations
• Independent operation of PLC and pneumatically controlled systems
• Operation of all auxiliary systems in the chemical-pharmaceutical area
• Documentation of all activities in a GMP-compliant and correct manner
• Compliance with all GMP and safety-related requirements
• Carrying out simple maintenance and revision work
• Cleaning of the plants

Your Profile

• Professional qualification as a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist, chemical operator, or chemical production specialist with several years of experience
• Professional experience in operating (multipurpose) plants and control systems in chemical or pharmaceutical production
• Knowledge of the basic operations of chemical production (preparation, dosing, crystallization, filtration, distillation, and separation, etc.)
• Willingness to work in a 4-shift system (Our 4-shift: 7 days of work (early, late, night shifts), then 4 days off. 5 days of work then 2 days off. 7 days of work, then 3 days off. Two free weekends in the 4-shift operation.)
• Possibly willingness to relocate to Switzerland
• High safety and quality awareness as well as willingness to be flexible and to continue training at the workplace
• MS Office skills
• Very good German language skills
