Project Management Employee 70%The Cantonal Social Office undertakes diverse, controlling and operational tasks in social assistance, social insurance, social services and in the asylum sector. It is newly responsible for implementing the Self-Determination Act (SLBG). This creates more freedom for people with disabilities in choosing support services in the form of advice, care and accompaniment. Further information can be found at www.zh.ch/sebe.
The Social Services Department is responsible for implementing the Self-Determination Act with the SEBE system. After SEBE was established in recent years, the focus in the next phase is on expansion and further development. Would you like to tackle complex projects with social insurance law questions in an administrative context and help shape the communication for the further development of SEBE? To strengthen our SEBE team, we are looking for a committed individual as a Project Management Employee 70% with immediate effect or by arrangement, limited until the end of 2029.
Your tasks:
- (Co-)management of subprojects, especially in the further development of SEBE regarding social insurance law questions (e.g. ELG)
- Coordination and interface management in collaboration with internal project managers
- Preparation of decision-making bases, supervision and coordination of contracts with third parties and ensuring knowledge management
- Ensuring SEBE communication: managing the website, responsibility for various communication products (e.g. flyers or newsletters) and organising information events
- Supporting the SEBE project management and department management in various tasks, especially in preparing and conducting cross-departmental exchange forums or preparing presentation materials for external stakeholders, inter-cantonal exchanges or internal purposes
- Depending on your interests and skills, participation in further projects related to SEBE and in the Social Services Department
Your profile:
- You are a committed, resilient and structured individual who always keeps an overview even in hectic situations
- You convince with your experience in project management, preferably in an administrative context
- You have a tertiary education in social sciences, non-profit, public or healthcare management or similar
- Ideally, you have further training or experience in social insurance law
- You have strong communication skills which you use appropriately for the target audience. Ideally, you can demonstrate additional qualifications or professional experience in this area
- You work in a structured and independent manner and are proficient in using digital applications
- You have experience with CMS or are motivated to learn it
- Preferably, you have experience involving various stakeholders, especially people with disabilities
- You are familiar with the processes in cantonal politics and administration or are interested in getting to know them in depth
