the safe and reliable supply of electricity to our customers.

Your tasks

Planning tasks:

• Planning for road renovation projects, expansions of utility company service lines and public lighting.
• Creating project plans and cost estimates for budget planning, as well as quotations for the city of Kloten.
• Discussion and coordination of preliminary projects.
• Preparation and execution planning of house connections for new builds and renovations.
• Determination and provision of materials.
• On-site meetings regarding execution with builders/architects.
• Obtaining quotations for materials and external services.
• Inspection of completion and plan surveys, comparison with on-site surveys.
• Compilation of plan submissions for ESTI.
• Coordination meetings for construction permits for service lines (electricity, water, gas), creating minutes with cost estimates.
• Processing and assessment of building applications.
• Execution planning, preparation for renovations of transformer stations, distribution cabinets and 16 kV lines.
• Providing on-call service.

Work execution:

• Project meetings and information exchange with overall responsible electricity utility and chief foreman.
• Creating or checking switching programmes for medium and low voltage switching.
• Deputising for the chief foreman in construction management tasks.

Your profile

• Completed training as a network electrician with subsequent further training to become a network specialist (professional examination) or a comparable qualification.
• Sound knowledge in the field of electricity networks, especially in planning, construction and operation. Experience in project management as well as in planning activities.
• Communicative and team-oriented personality with a structured and solution-oriented working style.
• Hands-on mentality - team player.
• Flexibility and reliability.
• Possession of a driving licence category B (motor vehicles).
