Introduction

On behalf of our client, an internationally active software group in Zurich City (Oerlikon), we are looking for a committed individual as a Financial Controller (100%).

Type of Work

• Preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
• Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS
• Preparation of analyses, reports and KPI evaluations for several companies
• Analysis of deviations and development of recommendations for action
• Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and scenarios
• Support in investment decisions and business cases
• Contact person for various internal departments and finance teams
• Preparation of decision-making bases for management
• Optimisation of financial processes and internal controls
• Support in internal and external audits
• Participation in M&A projects, due diligence and integration of new companies
• Financial assessment of potential acquisitions

Requirements Profile

• Education or further training in finance, controlling, accounting or business administration
• At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally at group level
• Good IFRS knowledge is essential
• Very good Excel skills and good understanding of financial accounting
• German at native level and good English skills
• Analytical, structured and numbers-oriented personality
• Independent, proactive and reliable working style
• Hands-on mentality and solution-oriented thinking
• Good communication skills, also with persons outside the finance area
• Interest in process optimisation, digitalisation and AI
• Enjoyment of working in a dynamic and international environment
