Responsibilities

• Procurement and securing of raw materials according to needs
• Maintaining supplier directories
• Negotiating and improving purchasing conditions
• Negotiating and concluding purchasing contracts
• Creating annual plans and being responsible for corresponding budget positions
• Planning and conducting supplier evaluations/audits
• Searching for alternative suppliers and products for critical raw materials
• Complying with approval criteria for raw materials (in cooperation with QA)
• Ensuring complete documentation of raw materials
• Optimizing prices vs. inventory costs
• Evaluating new suppliers and raw materials
• Compiling delivery schedules from suppliers
• Storing current documents of business partners

Requirements

• Successfully completed training in commercial or paramedical field
• Professional experience in purchasing is an advantage
• Knowledge of plants is a plus
• Experience with SAP
• Fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
• Very good organizational skills, a high level of commitment and flexibility as well as an independent, responsible way of working
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
