Employing more than 100 permanent and auxiliary staff, the primary mission of the municipal administration is to offer quality reception and service to its 6,870 citizens and numerous visitors.

In this growth dynamic, the youth service of the municipality of Echallens wishes to hire for its activity center a:

Youth Assistant Instructor

Desired profile:

• Student at HEP/UNIL/HES with an interest in the field of socio-cultural animation
• Ability to work with young people and experience as an instructor with the target population, namely 12 to 18 years old (camp supervisors, scouting, etc.)
• Interest in free reception and project creation
• Sense of organization and planning
• Ability to work in a team but also independently
• Listening skills, adaptability, creativity, and dynamism
• Be of legal age and have a clean special criminal record

Mission:

Participate in certain receptions at the Echallens animation and meeting center (CARÉ). Promote a participatory approach with young people and ensure collaboration with the animation team.

Hours: Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for about 40 weeks per year.
