About the job

At the Migros Restaurant Oerlikon, fresh and seasonal dishes are offered daily. Our guests can help themselves throughout the day from a wide selection. To complement our team, we are looking for a service- and front-oriented personality who values guest contact and enjoys the profession.

What you will do

• Preparation of cold and hot food offerings
• Advising and serving our guests as well as distributing menus
• Setting up and maintaining the buffets in the Free Flow (guest area)
• Active support in inventory management and receiving goods deliveries
• Various mise en place tasks in the respective work area
• Compliance with GMZ quality standards and HACCP hygiene guidelines

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Specialisation: as a cook
• Professional experience: At least 1-2 years of professional experience as a cook
• Flexible availability from Monday to Saturday in various shifts (early and late shifts, no room hour)
• Motivated, organised and humorous team player personality
• Efficient, forward-looking and orderly working style
• Enjoyment of working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures as well as guest contact
• German (B1)
