The REHAB Basel, Clinic for Neurorehabilitation and Paraplegiology, treats and rehabilitates patients with spinal cord injury, brain injury, and related conditions following accident or illness. Our primary goal is to achieve the greatest possible independence and optimal quality of life together with the people entrusted to us. We successfully provide both initial and follow-up rehabilitation.
The clinic has 110 beds and an outpatient service. Around 660 employees implement the visions and values of REHAB Basel in their daily work. They work in a unique building in the attractive tri-border area of Switzerland, Germany, and France.
From the first day of inpatient stay to the outpatient setting, we accompany our patients with our physiotherapeutic measures. Physiotherapy is part of the interprofessional team and, following a thorough assessment, methodically pursues the established goals according to in-house and other concepts.
Our physiotherapists are specialised in various techniques and concepts.
To complement our specialist team, we are looking for a Specialist Physiotherapist 60%-80% from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility:
Professional team development
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-informed best practice concepts for physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment
- Support of the professional and clinical development of employees through supervision, mentoring, and individual advice
- Promotion of professional exchange and knowledge transfer within the team by accompanying specialist groups as well as planning and conducting internal training
Clinical activity
- Physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment of patients with complex neurological conditions
- Implementation of evidence-informed and patient-centred evaluation and treatment approaches in clinical practice
Data management and research
- Organisation, preparation, and analysis of clinical and research data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment approaches and clinical processes
- Participation in clinic-related research and development projects
Your profile
- Completed MSc
- Qualified Physiotherapist HF / FH
- Several years of professional experience in neurorehabilitation and paraplegiology
- Good methodological and didactic skills
- Basic knowledge of data management, database structures, and data organisation
- Experience with REDCap, especially in project development and setup, is an advantage
- Very good German skills as well as English skills for working with specialist literature
