Your new role
As an employee of the Regional Civil Registry Office St. Gallen, you are in the middle of life. For the city of St. Gallen and the municipalities of Degersheim, Eggersriet, Häggenschwil, Muolen, and Wittenbach, you certify civil status events in various life situations between birth and death, thus making an important contribution to official record keeping.
As a civil status officer, you advise residents on marriages, child acknowledgments, and name declarations, certify civil status events from birth to death as well as administrative and court decisions, and conduct weddings.
This position is for you if you
- have a commercial education and ideally hold the federal specialist certificate for civil status officers or are willing to obtain the federal specialist certificate
- have professional experience in public administration
- can handle times of high stress with your commitment
- approach our international clientele with empathy and professionalism
