Head of Category Management (m/f/d) - Member of the Executive Board
Your new responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the Category Management / Procurement business area with extensive entrepreneurial scope for design
- Full member of the Executive Board – you significantly shape the company strategy
- Responsibility for the division strategy, assortment strategies, pricing, and procurement strategy with a clear growth focus and ambition
- Strategic leadership of private labels – from brand image through marketing to POS conception; in close cooperation with marketing
- Role as commercial driver and pace-setter of the company, in close partnership with the marketing management
- Leading the Category Managers as well as other procurement specialists
- Managing sales and margin development including consistent derivation and implementation of improvement measures
- Active participation in the internal corporate purchasing association
Participation in POS exhibition concepts in collaboration with marketing, store construction, and sales.
- Visits to relevant international trade fairs (Europe + Far East) in the Home & Living segment
- Continuous market and competitor monitoring including benchmarking and derivation of strategic measures
What you bring with you
Several years of leadership experience in building and developing a purchasing/procurement organisation with a broad assortment
- Retail experience in the capital goods segment, both stationary and in eCommerce
- Entrepreneurial thinking with foresight and overall responsibility at executive board level
- Business administration education/training
- Strong opportunity and growth orientation
- Genuine desire to shape the pfister brand and its sustainable success
Experience in furniture/Home & Living is an advantage but not a must
- Know-how in eCommerce-specific assortment sourcing
- Foreign languages (English/French)
