This is your job:
- Revising, writing and editing publication content, press releases, articles and statements as well as maintaining media contacts and active media work
- Advising and supporting the municipal council, the municipal clerk and department heads
- Responsibility for the municipality's external appearance in word and image
- Communicative and media support of political processes
- Further development of internal and external communication as well as information processes
- Participation in projects and support of strategic processes from a communication perspective
- Creating and/or professional support of templates such as advertisements, flyers or posters
- Professional responsibility for communication and information topics and contact person for internal and external stakeholders
You bring with you:
- High affinity for communicating everyday stories from the administration and important political decisions in a modern way
- Practice-oriented studies in the field of communication (e.g. university of applied sciences or MAZ), equivalent practical experience or further training in the fields of media, PR and communication
- Enjoyment of a hub function that is in constant exchange with all our administrative departments
- Solid professional experience in political media work, communication or journalism
- Fluency in written and spoken expression, also with digital communication tools
