These are your tasks
- Manage the entire procurement process for materials, construction services, and services from needs analysis through supplier selection to contract negotiation
- Responsible for contract management including contract and price negotiations
- Create and evaluate requests for quotations for complex needs
- Conduct and manage tenders/submissions both open and by invitation procedure according to IVöB
- Conduct mini-tender procedures and organize and accompany related supplier presentations
- Conduct competitive and market analyses within the framework of supplier management
- Consider sustainability aspects in procurement processes
- Ensure ongoing exchange with relevant stakeholders as well as close cooperation with the demand carriers, operational and strategic purchasing
This is what sets you apart
- Completed commercial training with further education as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate or as a specialist in public procurement with a federal certificate
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the public sector environment
- Sound knowledge of public procurement law and legally compliant implementation of procurements (IVöB or BöB/VöB)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP MM (R/3 or S/4)
- Experience with SAP Ariba Guided Buying and E-Sourcing is an advantage
- Organizational talent as well as pronounced negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Confident and convincing appearance in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Structured, independent, and responsible way of working
