The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton.
The Logistics/Planning service at Zurich Airport is the central contact, coordination, and support point for the areas of vehicles, equipment, technology, IT, and logistics. Within this service, the Material group forms the interface to internal and external partners and represents the interests of the airport police in all matters concerning the material supply of the operational units at Zurich Airport. Our core tasks include, among others, the provision of equipment, the application for airport passes and driving permits, the management of the locking system of the areas used at Zurich Airport, as well as the organization of cloakroom areas and vending machines.

Tasks
- Responsible for the proper transport, traceability, storage, and professional disposal of dangerous goods
- Management and ensuring the operational readiness of the vehicle fleet of the airport police control department
- Responsibility for material management within the entire control department
- Care of first aid boxes as well as management of beverage and vending machines in compliance with hygiene regulations
- Independent handling of additional tasks outside the regular scope of duties
- Participation in periodic inventories on behalf of the material service
- Conducting specialized instructions and participation in working groups
Profile
- Completion of a technical vocational training (EBA or EFZ) is an advantage
- Knowledge and professional experience in logistics
- Precise, careful, independent, and structured way of working
- High service and quality orientation as well as pronounced punctuality
- Very good communication and cooperation skills
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
- Interest in optimizing workflows and implementing improvements
- Good MS Office user skills (especially Excel)
- Organizational talent, good sense of orientation, and flexibility in a dynamic environment
- Physical resilience, especially for the transport and handling of heavy objects
- Driver's license category B available
