RBS is currently in an important phase of further development. We are seeking, as part of a succession solution, our future CFO / Head of Finance. We are looking for a personality who builds on the existing solid foundation and further develops it with entrepreneurial foresight, financial understanding, and strong interpersonal skills – respectful of what exists and clearly focused on the future.
CFO / Head of Finance and Member of the Executive Board
Your Responsibilities
- As a member of the Executive Board, you actively shape the company strategy and the further development of RBS.
- You lead the Finance department including all sub-areas relevant to a rail and bus company; this also includes Legal and Central Procurement.
- You are responsible for drafting subsidy agreements with the federal government and cantons for the medium- and long-term financing of operations and investment projects.
- You develop a long-term financial perspective and manage financial controlling for infrastructure, operations, real estate, and corporate development projects.
- You are responsible for establishing the real estate accounting and the financial development of the ancillary real estate business.
- You create meaningful decision-making bases and advise as a forward-looking sparring partner on financial and entrepreneurial matters.
- You further develop integrated financial corporate management, linking strategy, finance, performance, risks, data, and implementation into an effective overall picture.
- You harness the potential of data, automation, and modern system solutions to actively shape the digital transformation.
- You represent complex financial and entrepreneurial topics clearly, understandably, and convincingly to internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile
- You hold a university degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a comparable field and have ideally complemented your profile with an Executive MBA, a MAS in Corporate Finance or Controlling, or a comparable business management qualification.
- You bring strong leadership and communication skills and lead with value orientation to create a respectful, appreciative, and future-oriented environment.
- You have several years of leadership experience at executive or divisional management level, possess proven experience in strategic financial management, and are confident operating in a regulated, capital-intensive environment as well as in dealings with clients and authorities; knowledge of public transport is an advantage.
- You have successfully contributed to demanding organisational development projects, have a strong affinity for digitalisation and data, and have many years of experience in the application and further development of a leading ERP system (preferably SAP).
