QUALITY MANAGER FOR METAL COMPONENTS M/F
Reporting to the Manufacturing Unit Manager, you are responsible for the conformity of machined and turned products intended for our customers. You work closely with the R&D and production teams to ensure control of product/process developments and processes and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Manage a multidisciplinary team composed of 4 people: a quality engineer, two quality facilitators, and a metrology manager
- Ensure the execution and relevance of Product Quality Assurance activities during Project phases
- Ensure the conformity of key product lifecycle stages:
- Project: Taking into account Requirements, CSR, functional analysis, completeness of APQP, relevance of RP deliverables, exhaustiveness of FMEA, Control Plan, customer PPAP
- Series Life: Validation of critical Modifications, Deviations, and handling of incidents (internal, customers) with Lessons Learned and FMEA capitalization
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives: QRQC, 8D, root cause analysis…
- Monitor quality indicators: scrap rate, rework, customer returns, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Raise awareness and train workshop teams on quality requirements and best practices.
- Prepare and support audits: customer, internal, certifications (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
- Collaborate with internal and external customers: handling complaints, monitoring action plans, audits.
- Conduct internal audits according to the annual audit plan, close action plans
Your technical skills
You master the manufacturing of metal components, particularly machining and turning processes.
You have significant experience in quality management within a demanding industrial environment, such as the automotive industry. Thus, you are fully familiar with certifications, standards, and regulations applicable to the ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949 frameworks and core tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D, FMEA (AMDECs), QRQC.
You master English to be able to use it daily with our customers. German is highly appreciated.

Diplomatic, pedagogical, and able to convince, you are a good communicator and know how to unite your teams and various stakeholders towards a common goal.
Available in crisis situations, you can withstand pressure and are resolutely results-oriented.
Proactive and resourceful, you know how to develop solutions and action plans to solve a customer issue in a continuous improvement logic.
With higher education in quality management or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience in industrial quality, ideally on metal components and in the automotive sector.
The position is located at the Boncourt site.
