We are a successful Swiss family business operating internationally in the fruit and vegetable sector. Our corporate culture is characterised by dynamism, openness and agility. In all our activities, not only our customers but also our employees are at the centre. We are expanding our quality department and are therefore looking for a new team member immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Responsible for fulfilling and complying with the assigned goals, tasks, competencies and guidelines in quality management
- Support in defining and revising QM processes
- Preparation and execution of internal audits as well as supplier/service provider audits
- Support during certification audits including preparation and handling of measures
- Support in planning, introducing and implementing new industry standards
- Support of the sustainability strategy and corresponding reporting
- Maintenance and further development of complaint management, regular recording and evaluation of complaints about suppliers, customer complaints and internal errors
- Statements to customers as well as demands for measures towards suppliers
- Assessing retained samples including storage tests; support of benchmark tastings
- Participation in hazard and risk analyses, planning and implementation of control measures as well as their regular verification
- Co-responsibility for certificate and document management along the supply chain
- Recording and maintenance of master data, e.g. of new suppliers and items
- Preparation and execution of hygiene and process training
- Creating and maintaining specifications
- Conducting hygiene and inspection rounds, quality and safety checks
- Briefing the quality manager on all matters of greater significance
- Deputising for the quality manager and ensuring the flow of information to interfaces
Your profile:
- Food technologist with further training in quality management or a bachelor’s degree in food technology (FH)
- Several years (at least 3 years) of professional experience in the food industry
- Experience as an internal auditor is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented working style
- Good organisational skills and assertiveness
- Team player with a pronounced independent working style
