About the job

Introduction

Ready to help shape the future of plastics processing? At Novoplast, innovation is paramount. Since 1945, we have been passionately driving the plastics industry forward. With our strategy, we focus on extrusion at our headquarters in Wallbach (CH), while expanding our injection moulding site in Iharosberény (Hungary). With around 130 creative minds at both locations, we set new standards and create innovative custom plastic profiles and parts. Become part of our mission and experience the thrilling world of plastics processing up close.

To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed and motivated Industrial Electrician / Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) 80-100%.

Tasks

• Your top priority is to ensure the safety and high availability of operating equipment and infrastructure. You achieve this by checking, maintaining, repairing, or replacing electronic components, often in coordination with various suppliers of our systems. Knowledge and experience in mechanical repair and maintenance are advantageous and complement your responsibilities perfectly.
• You support the projects of our automation and digitalisation initiatives: designing circuit diagrams, assembling control cabinets, as well as conceptualising and implementing control loops. Evaluating and procuring components and devices, as well as systems, to make our production more efficient, are also part of your duties.
• You assist the production departments with the fine-tuning of operating equipment (including training and documentation), manage the Novoplast network as an authorised switch operator, oversee the electronic spare parts warehouse, and the KNX network.

Qualifications

• You are a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, electrician, or electrical installer and hold a valid licence as an industrial electrician with several years of experience in a manufacturing company – or you have the necessary basic qualifications and the willingness to obtain the licence promptly.
• You have completed training for medium voltage switching authorisation or are willing to complete it in the near future.

Benefits

• Our working atmosphere is characterised by flat hierarchies and open communication.
• To ensure your everyday life is balanced, you benefit from 26 days of holiday plus 4 bridge days and a travel cost subsidy. Additionally, we support your health – for example, through contributions to sports activities.
• Because your future matters to us, we offer you an above-average pension fund interest rate.
