What you achieve

Become part of our Application Management team at Baloise Bank and support us in developing and maintaining innovative integration solutions. Share your ideas, be curious, and implement IT projects in close collaboration with IT specialists and the business. Focusing on Avaloq, the Application Management team at Baloise Bank is responsible for the smooth operation of all IT applications. We are looking for you to strengthen our team in the application operation of our core banking system (Avaloq), the peripheral systems, as well as in integration projects.

• Analysis, design, and implementation of integration projects between Avaloq and various peripheral systems
• Close collaboration with business units, IT teams, and external partners
• Parameterisation, configuration, and continuous development of the Avaloq Banking System
• Operation, maintenance, and optimisation of the integration platform as well as interface solutions
• Ensuring stable application operation including monitoring, incident and problem management
• Participation in 2nd-level support as well as performing housekeeping and lifecycle management tasks
• Support in security reviews, authorisation concepts, vulnerability remediation, and implementation of security-by-design principles
• Active involvement in the technical and organisational further development of our application landscape

What you bring

• Higher education degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the banking environment
• Sound knowledge of the Avaloq Banking System
• Good knowledge of Windows, Linux, and SQL database environments; experience with container technologies such as Docker or OpenShift is an advantage
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange with various stakeholders
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
