About the job
The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. In the interdisciplinary emergency centre, more than 27,500 people are treated annually.
For our emergency centre, we are looking for a civilian service nursing assistant emergency centre (job description no. 106596) immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Assisting and supporting qualified staff with simple nursing tasks
- Assisting with the repositioning of patients
- Assisting with patient monitoring
- Performing general housekeeping duties
- Stocking and replenishing consumables
- Maintenance and cleaning of nursing utensils and furniture
- Accompanying patients and running errands within the hospital grounds
Your profile
- Completed vocational training (no prior nursing knowledge required)
- High social competence and communication skills as well as empathy
- Enjoyment of nursing activities
- Motivation in dealing with people in need of care
- Willingness to work according to shift schedules
