We are looking to strengthen our team with a TPA who is not afraid of parasites.
The Diagnostic Centre for Parasitology (DZP) is a department at the Institute of Parasitology at the University of Zurich and examines stool, blood, and tissue samples from humans and animals for parasites.

We offer:

• Regular working hours, without late or weekend shifts
• Flexible workload from 50-100%, ideal also for parents who wish to work reduced hours for family reasons
• Small, collegial team with short communication paths
• Workplace in the heart of Zurich, with good public transport connections
• Opportunity to gradually expand the scope of duties depending on interest and experience
• Insight into the fascinating world of parasitological diagnostics

The position is paid hourly and offers room for personal flexibility. We are happy to explain more about this alternative employment model. The salary is based on the salary system of the Canton of Zurich.

Tasks

• Sample registration and report creation
• General administrative support of laboratory operations
• Assistance with sample preparation
• If interested: stool microscopy

Profile

• Completed training as a Veterinary Practice Assistant (TPA)
• Good knowledge of German
• You are a team player but also independent and reliable
