The HUG daycares have two sites with gardens, one located on the Belle-Idée estate in Chêne-Bourg and the other near the Cantonal Hospital, as well as a drop-in daycare primarily intended for patients attending consultations at the maternity ward.

The HUG daycares are company daycares reserved for the children of employees.

Job Description

As an early childhood educator, you welcome and engage children aged 4 months to 5 years, applying the pedagogical approach defined in the institutional project of the HUG daycares. You provide individualized care based on the needs and imperatives of the child.

You participate in the development and implementation of the project inspired by the work of Emmi Pikler and ensure the safety of the children by constantly creating an environment conducive to their development and well-being. To do this, you work collaboratively in a team with a child-centered approach.

Qualifications

You hold a diploma as an early childhood educator ES issued by ESEDE or an equivalent diploma recognized by SASAJ allowing you to hold this position in a daycare in the canton of Geneva.

You have proven professional experience.

Additional Information

Assignments are on our 3 sites, namely at the Magnolias daycare (Belle-Idée), the Kangaroos (Cluse-Roseraie), and the drop-in daycare depending on needs.

Variable hours may be subject to change for internal replacements within the service.
