Role:
Our client is an internationally active Swiss mechanical engineering company with its own development and production. You will take overall responsibility for the design department, lead a technical team, and manage demanding development and customer projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design team both technically and personally
Be responsible for resources, budget, and engineering quality
Manage complex development and customer projects
Ensure deadlines, costs, and technical project goals
Coordinate interfaces with production, sales, and service
Optimise engineering processes and develop employees
Qualifications:
Technical basic training as a designer, polymechanic or equivalent
Further training in mechanical engineering / design technology is an advantage
Several years of experience in mechanical or plant engineering
Leadership experience as well as solid project management know-how
Very good knowledge of CAD and design
Very good German and English
