To complement our team, we are looking for a Medical Device Technologist for our AEMP (Medical Device Reprocessing Unit) immediately or by arrangement
Medical Device Technologist EFZ or Technical Sterilisation Assistant
The Merian Iselin Clinic is a state-of-the-art private clinic with a public service mandate in Basel. Our focus areas are orthopaedics, surgery and urology. With us, you will find meaningful work in a family environment where people are at the centre.
Your main tasks
- Decontamination, cleaning, sterilisation and provision of surgical instruments and accessories according to recognised quality standards
- Inspection and packaging of various instrument systems
- Operation of sterilisation equipment
- Electronic documentation, compilation and release of sterilisation batches
Your profile
- You have completed training as a Medical Device Technologist EFZ or at least Fachkunde 1
- You have already gained experience in all areas of an AEMP
- The team is important to you – both in the AEMP and with our customers
- You enjoy working independently and responsibly with a high level of quality awareness
- You are open to on-call duties on weekends and public holidays
Our offer
- We offer a 40-hour week (at 100%) in a 2-shift system
- 20 minutes paid break daily
