Service Internship

The Charterhouse Ittingen – a former monastery – is today one of the leading seminar and cultural centers in Switzerland. Our guests have at their disposal a hotel with 68 rooms (3 stars Superior), a restaurant, a bar in the former ox stable, various event locations with around 1,000 seats, and 22 seminar rooms with up to 450 seats. In a unique historical setting, we offer an incomparable framework for diverse social and cultural occasions. In addition to the hospitality business, the Charterhouse Ittingen operates an estate with viticulture, a butcher's shop, fish farming, a nursery, and a cheese dairy as well as a home and workshop for supervised employees. We are a leading company in terms of sustainability; our efforts have been recognized with the ibex fairstay Label Platinum.

Entry is by arrangement.

Assignments are planned in all areas of classic gastronomy: banquet, à la carte service, garden restaurant, seminar catering, and events. If interested, occasional insights/assignments in our viticulture, cheese dairy, butcher's shop, nursery/floristry, reservation, and reception are possible. With a lot of personal responsibility, you will work in a very professional, guest-oriented, and motivated team.

With this internship position, we are addressing a warm and sales-oriented personality who wants to expand their practical experience in one of the most versatile hospitality businesses in Switzerland.
