About the job
The Dean's Advisory Office makes an essential contribution to the smooth running of studies and offers competent support and advisory services for students and lecturers.
Your tasks
- As a member of our team, you support the smooth handling of the student life cycle for master's students and handle demanding administrative and system-related tasks
- You provide information on general questions about the course of study, communicate in writing and orally with students, program leaders and lecturers in German and English
- After an appropriate familiarization phase, you advise our students as a competent contact person in complex study-related situations and process applications for exceptions. In doing so, you apply both the legal bases and the general practice of the University of St.Gallen
- You support students and lecturers in the administrative process of master's theses
- In the area of bachelor's degrees, you provide information, issue certificates and produce second copies of official documents and certificates (e.g. diplomas)
Your profile
- Confident German and excellent oral and written expression in English
- Experienced handling of common office programs and interest in learning and working intensively with other specific IT applications
- Quick comprehension as well as precise, efficient and independent working style
- Strong communication skills and service orientation
- Flexible personality with good team spirit and enjoyment in dealing with people
