The Centre for Children with Sensory and Physical Impairments ZKSK is an interdisciplinary centre of expertise for children and young people with physical, sensory, and multiple impairments. At four locations, we offer educational support, individual medical and pedagogical therapy services, as well as residential options. Through psychological and medical assessments and therapies, we support, advise, and accompany children and families.
To complement our interdisciplinary team, we are seeking two interdisciplinary interested, committed diploma or trainee psychomotor therapists (40 to 80%) at our outpatient therapy centre in Solothurn from 1 August 2026.
You will support children in mainstream schools with movement, perception, and behavioural impairments as well as learning difficulties at our therapy centre in Solothurn. You demonstrate enthusiasm in working with children and their families and handle challenging situations calmly, flexibly, and resiliently. You actively seek exchange with teachers and specialists from mainstream schools.
Your tasks
- Holistic assessment and promotion of the child in the areas of activity and participation
- Determining the treatment concept and formulating objectives in close collaboration and involving parents, school, the attending physician, the interdisciplinary team, and other specialist agencies
- Conducting treatments independently in individual therapy and small groups
- Independent performance recording and completion of administration
Your qualifications
- Diploma in psychomotor therapy, completed or in training
- Enjoyment of independent work
- Communicative personality with high social competence
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration, with the child at the centre
