Introduction

Hatebur Umformmaschinen AG is a global developer and solution provider of machines, tools, and processes for hot and cold forming. The location of the assembly plant and thus the current workplace is in Birsfelden BL.

Due to succession planning, we are looking for an experienced individual as a mechanic / assembler for the assembly of complex large machines, who enjoys working in a small team and fits in well with us personally.

Tasks

• Mechanical pre-assembly of components and assemblies
• Carrying out repairs on machines and assemblies
• Assembly of technically demanding forming machines
• Installation work in the areas of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrics on components and systems
• Construction, commissioning, and acceptance of complete customer-specific systems in our assembly plant
• Carrying out acceptance tests after completion of the machines
• Close cooperation with internal departments and the project manager
• Creating and adapting assembly instructions

Qualifications

• Completed technical training (polymechanic / machine mechanic or similar)
• Several years of assembly experience, preferably in machine or plant construction
• Good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• High social competence and good communication skills
• Knowledge of ERP programmes as well as standard Office applications
• Good knowledge of German
• Italian and English skills are an advantage
