Introduction
Are you an experienced accountant looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and reputable company? Fiduciaire Muller Christe & Associés SA, located in Neuchâtel, is seeking an Experienced Fiduciary Accountant to join our professional and committed team. This position is available from 60% to 100% workload.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and retaining a portfolio of corporate clients (SMEs) in the canton of Neuchâtel and throughout Switzerland
- Handling all accounting and administrative needs of clients
- Independently managing mandates for SMEs (accounting including interim and annual closings, payroll and social insurance administration, taxes)
- Participating in audits if necessary
- Collaborating on projects and covering for colleagues on mandates
- Preparing tax returns (individuals and corporations, real estate gains, inheritances)
- Managing communications with tax authorities (claims, appeals, negotiations)

You offer:
Successful initial experience within a fiduciary (4-5 years)
Ideally a federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting
Strong skills in payroll and social insurance management
Necessary expertise in taxation (individual/corporate tax returns, VAT statements)
Computer skills and a keen interest in new tools
A proactive approach to continuously improving our internal processes
A very good level of English and/or German is a definite asset
With excellent interpersonal skills, you combine analysis and synthesis, rigour and method. You enjoy teamwork and have a service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
As an Experienced Fiduciary Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
- Complete management of accounting for a varied client portfolio.
- Preparation of annual closings and financial statements.
- Preparation of tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Advising and supporting clients in their administrative and financial procedures.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure quality service.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Degree in accounting or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in a fiduciary in Switzerland.
- Good knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and client orientation.
- Proficiency with common IT tools (MS Office, accounting software).
- Knowledge of French (mandatory); any other language is an asset.
